Got Questions?
Straight answers about the process, pricing, and what it's like to work together. No fluff.
Great question, and one I love answering. We start with a discovery conversation where I get to know your business, your audience, and what you're going for. From there, I move into research and concept development, then present initial designs for your feedback. We refine from there until it's exactly right. You're involved every step of the way. No surprises, no guessing games.
Every project includes multiple initial concepts so you have real options to choose from. Not just one take-it-or-leave-it design. From there, we go through revision rounds to dial it in. I want you to love the final result, so I work with you until we get there. Specific revision counts are outlined in your project agreement.
Totally fine. That's what the process is for. I'd rather you be honest early than settle for something that doesn't feel right. We'll talk through what's working, what isn't, and I'll come back with a refined direction. My goal is a design you're genuinely proud of, not just one that's "good enough."
Timelines depend on the project, but communication is the biggest factor. As long as we stay in consistent contact, there shouldn't be any unnecessary delays. Logo projects typically take 1 to 2 weeks from kickoff to final files. Web design projects generally run 2 to 4 weeks depending on the number of pages and complexity. Marketing materials vary by scope. I'll give you a clear timeline upfront so you can plan accordingly.
Absolutely. While I'm based in the Bay Area and love working with local businesses, I work with clients all over the country. Everything runs smoothly over email, video calls, and shared files. Distance has never been a barrier to great work.
You can absolutely start with just a logo, and many clients do. That said, I'll always be upfront with you: a logo alone is just one piece of the puzzle. Without consistent colors, typography, and usage guidelines, it's easy for your brand to look scattered across different platforms. I offer full brand identity packages for a reason, but I'll never push you into more than you need right now.
You'll get everything you need to use your logo anywhere. Vector files (.AI, .EPS, .SVG) for print and scalable use, plus high-resolution raster files (.PNG, .JPG) for web and digital. I also provide variations: full color, black, white, and any alternate layouts. You'll be set for business cards, websites, signage, social media, all of it.
You do, 100%. Once the project is paid in full, full ownership and rights transfer to you. It's your brand, your logo. I just help bring it to life. One thing I do ask: with your permission, I'd love to be able to share your logo and other work in my portfolio. It helps showcase what we built together, and I'll always ask before posting anything.
If you plan to grow your business, hire people, or work with other vendors, yes, you really do. A brand style guide is the rulebook that keeps everything consistent: the exact colors (with codes), the fonts, how the logo should and shouldn't be used. It protects the investment you made in your brand. I include this in my brand identity packages and highly recommend it.
Research is baked into my process. Before I ever put pen to paper (or cursor to screen), I study your industry, your competitors, and your target audience. The goal isn't just a logo that looks good. It's one that positions you correctly in your market and speaks directly to the people you're trying to reach.
Logo design starts at $300. Web design starts at $750 for one to two pages, $1,250 for three to five pages, and custom pricing for larger or more complex projects. Marketing materials are priced based on scope. If you need more than one service, I offer bundle rates. Just reach out and I'll put together a custom quote.
Yes. I require a 50% deposit to kick off the project, with the remaining balance due upon completion. If you need a different payment structure, just bring it up when we talk. I'd rather find a way to make it work than have budget be the reason we don't.
Not much to kick things off. Just a conversation. Fill out my project form or shoot me an email and we'll set up a call. From there, I'll send over a brief questionnaire to understand your business, your goals, and your vision. The more context you can give me, the better the outcome.
Yes, absolutely. While my core focus is visual brand identity, naming and taglines are very much part of the broader brand conversation. If that's something you need, bring it up and we'll work through it together.
I'm always happy to talk through your project before you commit to anything. No pressure, no sales pitch — just a real conversation about what you need.
